Position: Pastry Commis
Responsibilities:
- Assist the pastry team in the preparation of desserts, cakes, bread, and pastries.
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines precisely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and equipment.
- Ensure all food is handled and stored according to food safety regulations.
- Assist with basic decoration and finishing of pastry items.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience or internship in a pastry kitchen.
- A strong passion for pastry and baking.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Culinary school certificate or vocational training in pastry is a plus.
