Position: Pastry Commis

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pastry team in the preparation of desserts, cakes, bread, and pastries.
  • Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines precisely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and equipment.
  • Ensure all food is handled and stored according to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with basic decoration and finishing of pastry items.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience or internship in a pastry kitchen.
  • A strong passion for pastry and baking.
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Culinary school certificate or vocational training in pastry is a plus.
