Position: Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
- Record and manage all daily financial transactions of the hotel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations, maintain general ledger accounts, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist the Finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Process and verify employee expense reports and petty cash transactions.
- Maintain meticulous records of financial documents, ensuring all data is organized and easily accessible for auditing.
- Ensure adherence to all hotel internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
- Support the Finance Manager with year-end closing processes and tax documentation requirements in Indonesia.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles and software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory for financial data management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Discipline and commitment to professional standards as expected in a 5-star establishment in Jakarta Pusat.
