Position: Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments in the 5-star hotel.
- Oversee quality control, conducting frequent inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure impeccable cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, labor costs, and departmental inventory for linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Lead and mentor the supervisory and cleaning teams, providing ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Engineering departments to ensure efficient room status updates and timely maintenance execution.
- Handle complex guest requests and complaints related to cleanliness or amenities with professionalism and urgency.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring IHG brand standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor in a large-scale 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and delegation skills in a high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, chemical handling, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills, proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and maintain high productivity standards.
- High standard of personal presentation and a dedication to unparalleled hospitality.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
