Position: Banquet Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all banquet operations to ensure seamless execution of events and social gatherings
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and deliver personalized neighborhood stories
- Manage banquet finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost control
- Ensure the banquet team adheres to strictly IHG service and hygiene standards
- Train and develop banquet staff to maintain high levels of operational excellence
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Banquet leadership role within an upscale hotel
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage a diverse event workforce
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills for complex event management
- Strategic mindset with a focus on service excellence and financial performance
- Fluent in English for professional reporting and stakeholder coordination
- Detail oriented approach to maintaining banquet facilities and infrastructure
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is highly regarded
