Position: Host – Kitchen (Chinese Cuisine)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese cuisine dishes according to the hotel’s standard recipes.
- Manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring all food items are prepared with consistency and excellence.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, food costing, and ordering of supplies for the station.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to contribute to menu development and daily specials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef de Partie with a strong specialization in Chinese cuisine.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or reputable restaurant kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and wok skills.
- A passion for food and a commitment to quality and authenticity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety (HACCP) principles.
