Director of Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire Engineering department, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
• Ensure all hotel facilities and systems (HVAC, MEP, fire safety) are maintained to the highest standards.
• Develop and manage the department’s budget, focusing on energy conservation and sustainability.
• Oversee complex renovations and capital improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and brand standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; technical certifications and project management credentials are considered strong assets.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience within a full-service or luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex renovation, capital improvement, or modernization projects in operational hotel settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, fire safety, energy, and sustainability.
