Position: Head Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Develop innovative menus that align with the Plataran brand, focusing on both local and international cuisine.
- Train, mentor, and supervise the culinary team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage kitchen inventory, control food costs, and oversee purchasing to maintain profitability.
- Ensure all culinary offerings provide an exceptional guest experience, from taste to presentation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef role.
- Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Excellent guest experience skills, demonstrated through culinary creations.
- Great decision making and problem solving skills.
- Outstanding leadership skills with a strong ability to motivate staff.
- Expertise in menu engineering and kitchen finance management.
