Position: Duty Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary engineering point of contact during a shift, overseeing all maintenance activities.
- Respond to all urgent maintenance requests from guests and other departments.
- Supervise engineering staff on shift, assigning tasks and monitoring work.
- Conduct regular patrols of plant rooms and technical areas.
- Log all activities and incidents in the engineering duty logbook.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Engineering Supervisor or senior technician in a hotel.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to lead a team and make decisions under pressure.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with other departments.
- Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Familiar with hotel safety and emergency procedures.
