Position: HEAD CHEF (Teppanyaki Restaurant)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all culinary operations for the Teppanyaki restaurant.
  • Design and develop innovative Teppanyaki menus and specialty dishes.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the kitchen team.
  • Control food cost, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership culinary role, with at least 2 years as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high end Teppanyaki restaurant.
  • Expertise in Teppanyaki cooking, menu development, and culinary innovation.
  • Strong leadership, training, and team management skills.
  • In depth knowledge of food costing, kitchen finance, and inventory control.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation (HACCP) standards.
  • Ability to manage a high volume, high pressure kitchen environment.
