Position: Host – Kitchen (Chinese Cuisine)
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high quality Chinese cuisine.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standard recipes and specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen station and equipment.
- Manage inventory for the station, including stock rotation and ingredient requisition.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a kitchen role, with specific expertise in Chinese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and wok skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Culinary certification or formal training is highly advantageous.
