Position: Commis (Hot Kitchen) – Part Time
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under supervision.
- Follow recipes and kitchen guidelines to ensure consistent food quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and workstations.
- Support with stock rotation, labeling, and storing food properly.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or as a Commis is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Willing to work part time shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Culinary school certificate is an advantage.
