Position: Commis I Cold Banquet

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute all cold food items for banquet events, including salads, appetizers, and desserts.
• Assist the Chef de Partie in mise en place and food production according to recipes.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the cold kitchen station and walk in chillers.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis, specializing in cold kitchen or pantry.
• Strong knowledge of cold food preparation, garde manger, and presentation techniques.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume banquet environment.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willing to learn and take direction.
