Position: Host – Kitchen (Chinese Cuisine)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Chinese cuisine dishes according to hotel standards.
• Ensure all food items are prepared, cooked, and presented in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workstation (mise en place).
• Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Assist the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef with inventory, ordering, and stock rotation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook specializing in Chinese Cuisine, particularly Wok.
• Experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel or reputable Chinese restaurant is required.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu items.
• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Must be disciplined, passionate about culinary arts, and detail oriented.
• Formal culinary training is an advantage.
