Position: Director of Sales

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive Sales & Marketing strategies to maximize hotel revenue, market share, and brand presence in Makassar.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, ensuring clear targets are set and achieved toward great results.
• Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with key corporate clients, travel agents, and partners through effective networking.
• Oversee the negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring profitability and compliance with Meliã brand policies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and demand forecasts to adapt strategies effectively.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and detailed performance reports for the executive team.
• Ensure the sales activities consistently reflect the core values of **VERY INSPIRING PEOPLE** (VIP).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Director of Sales or a senior sales leadership position, preferably in a hotel setting in Makassar or the Eastern Indonesia region.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a good understanding of Sales & Marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication, sharp negotiation, and robust networking skills are essential.
• Target-oriented with strong business sense and up-to-date market awareness of the Makassar hospitality landscape.
• Must be energetic, inspiring, and able to lead the team toward great, measurable results.
• Proficiency in relevant hotel sales software (CRM) and revenue management principles.
• Relevant degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
