Position: Sushi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of high quality sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls.
- Manage the sushi station, ensuring top quality and freshness of all fish and ingredients.
- Develop and execute the sushi menu with creativity and precision.
- Control inventory, ordering, and food cost for the sushi bar.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a high end restaurant or luxury hotel.
- Expert knowledge of fish preparation, sushi rolling techniques, and presentation.
- Strong understanding of seafood sourcing and quality control.
- Creative and meticulous in food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a guest facing station.
- Deep knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Experience in the Bali culinary scene is an advantage.
