Position: General Cashier
Responsibilities:
- Manage the resort’s main vault, cash funds, and petty cash systems securely.
- Oversee the issuing and reconciliation of all departmental floats and cash envelopes.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and manage the secure transfer of funds.
- Handle foreign currency exchange transactions accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with all cash handling procedures and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a General Cashier, Teller, or similar cash handling role in a hotel or bank.
- Exceptional integrity and trustworthiness in managing large cash amounts.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy in counting and reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and internal controls.
- Proficiency in using money counting machines and basic accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet daily deadlines.
- Familiarity with foreign exchange rates is a plus.
