Position: Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen such as grill, sauté, pastry, or pantry
- Prepare dishes according to standards and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Coordinate with other stations during service to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organize mise-en-place for the section
- Support junior cooks and assist in their development
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as CDP or strong experience as Demi Chef/Commis I
- Expertise in a specific kitchen station
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion control
- Ability to follow recipes, standards, and plating requirements
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Culinary training or relevant certification is an advantage
