Mercure Jakarta Simatupang is a newly built midscale hotel featuring 214 superbly designed rooms where modernity and tradition exist in perfect harmony. Conveniently located in South Jakarta near the outer ring road with direct access to the Lebak Bulus exit, our hotel offers strategic access to the southern CBD, Fatmawati, and TB Simatupang areas. Position: Chief Security
Responsibilities:
- Train security officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrol, and first aid procedures.
- Conduct patrols and regular checks on all Security Officers to assure that they are alert and discharging their duties effectively.
- Conduct surveillance on hotel staff to ensure that they abide by the House Rules and keep tags on movements of staff classified as suspects under investigation.
- Control and direct all emergency personnel traffic in response to fire, bomb threats, police assistance, injury, or illness.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests, employees, and hotel assets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum degree from a reputable academy or university (Law Department preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position with a proven track record in a midscale/upscale hotel.
- Must possess Garda Utama and K3 certification.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
