Position: Resort Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire, guide, and develop diverse teams across all departments
  • Deliver highly personalized hospitality rooted in care, intuition, and genuine human connection
  • Champion community engagement and contribute meaningfully to Sumba’s cultural and social fabric
  • Thrive in a remote island environment, embracing its challenges as part of the adventure

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior hospitality leadership role reporting directly to the regional general manager
  • Communicate effortlessly with global guests, being fluent in at least three international languages
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a remote luxury setting
  • Strong operational and strategic leadership skills
  • Passion for community engagement and sustainable tourism
