Position: Asst Chief Steward / Steward Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the stewarding department to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and F&B areas.
- Manage inventory of chinaware, glassware, and cutlery.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of dishwashing equipment.
- Train stewarding staff on chemical usage and safety procedures.
- Assist in controlling breakage and costs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in stewarding operations in a hotel environment.
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Leadership skills to manage a team of stewards.
- Good organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Basic English skills.
- Reliable and hardworking.
