Position: Duty Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel facilities and systems during assigned shifts
- Respond to guest room and public area maintenance requests promptly
- Monitor and maintain MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest services
- Ensure adherence to all safety codes and preventative maintenance schedules
Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil)
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a technical duty role
- Strong troubleshooting skills for building systems and equipment
- Disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently
- Basic communication skills in English for guest interactions
- Ability to work shift hours including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for engineering operations
