Position: Duty Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel facilities and systems during assigned shifts
  • Respond to guest room and public area maintenance requests promptly
  • Monitor and maintain MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest services
  • Ensure adherence to all safety codes and preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or certification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil)
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a technical duty role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for building systems and equipment
  • Disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Basic communication skills in English for guest interactions
  • Ability to work shift hours including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations for engineering operations
