Position: Lead Host – Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the day-to-day operations of the Engineering department.
- Perform and delegate hands-on maintenance and repair tasks for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Implement and manage the hotel’s preventive maintenance program to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from guests and colleagues in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor junior Engineering Hosts, ensuring adherence to safety and brand standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel engineering, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical skills in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in guiding a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and fire prevention protocols.
- A technical diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
