Position: Receiving Staff
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications.
- Verify all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of all received goods in the inventory system.
- Organize and store received items in the appropriate storage areas (dry, chilled, frozen).
- Ensure the receiving and storage areas are clean, organized, and secure.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving or storekeeper role, preferably in a hotel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items.
- Honest and reliable.
- Familiarity with hotel procurement systems is a plus.
