Position: Commis ASIA

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of high quality dishes for the ASIA Restaurant.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as set by senior chefs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station at all times.
• Handle and store all food products in accordance with food safety (HACCP) guidelines.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and inventory.
• Learn and develop culinary skills within a fast paced, luxury environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Commis in a 5 star hotel or reputable Asian restaurant.
• Specific knowledge and passion for Asian cuisine.
• Formal culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
