Position: Chef de Partie Pastry

Qualification:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge and technical skills in pastry and bakery preparation.
  • Creative and passionate about dessert presentation and innovation.
  • Able to maintain consistency, quality, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Certification from a culinary or pastry arts program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for all hotel outlets, including buffets, banquets, and a la carte menus.
  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in menu development, recipe costing, and the creation of innovative dessert items.
  • Ensure all pastry items meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste, maintaining strict consistency.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of pastry supplies, ingredients, and equipment, placing orders as needed and minimizing waste.
  • Uphold rigorous hygiene and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen, adhering to all food safety protocols.
