Position: Steward

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitized.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and manage chemical usage.
  • Properly store clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with basic food preparation as needed by the culinary team.
  • Manage kitchen waste and recycling in accordance with hotel policy.

Qualifications:

  • Previous stewarding experience in a hotel or busy restaurant is preferred.
  • Hardworking and physically fit, with the ability to stand for long periods.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemical handling is an advantage.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.

    • CHigh standards of personal hygiene.

  • Willing to work flexible shifts, including nights.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
