Position: Duty Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the hotel’s daily operations, placing a strong emphasis on Front Office, Guest Relations, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any guest escalations, emergencies, or special requests, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support the Front Office team during peak check-in and check-out times, ensuring all procedures align with Gran Melia’s 5-star standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise effectively with all hotel departments, including Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare comprehensive shift reports, incident logs, and conduct daily briefings for the operational team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as Duty Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager, preferably in a 5-star hotel in Jakarta.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
  • Proficient in Opera PMS or similar hotel management software.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service standards and Jakarta guest expectations.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
