Position: Duty Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the hotel’s daily operations, placing a strong emphasis on Front Office, Guest Relations, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any guest escalations, emergencies, or special requests, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the Front Office team during peak check-in and check-out times, ensuring all procedures align with Gran Melia’s 5-star standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Liaise effectively with all hotel departments, including Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports, incident logs, and conduct daily briefings for the operational team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Duty Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager, preferably in a 5-star hotel in Jakarta.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
- Proficient in Opera PMS or similar hotel management software.
- Deep understanding of luxury service standards and Jakarta guest expectations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
