Position: Junior Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sous Chef in managing and supervising the kitchen station.
- Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet the luxury standards of the resort.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Manage inventory for the station, control food costs, and minimize waste.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP) standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene regulations.
- Creative and dedicated to culinary excellence.
