Position: Commis
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise-en-place for daily service
- Follow instructions from senior chefs to ensure consistent food quality
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Learn and apply various cooking methods and recipes
- Properly store and label food items to prevent spoilage
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts
- Fresh graduate or experience in a kitchen entry-level role
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety practices
- Passionate about cooking and eager to learn
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours
- Positive attitude and ability to follow directions
