Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes prepared.
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and staff training.
- Manage inventory for the station and assist with ordering and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
- Excellent culinary skills with a strong foundation in various cooking techniques.
- Great decision making and problem solving skills.
- Outstanding leadership potential and the ability to motivate junior chefs.
- Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent guest experience skills.
