Position: Director of Sales
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue and market share targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the hotel sales team, fostering a culture of high performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, government, and travel agency clients in Makassar.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and financial data to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent Melia Makassar at industry events, trade shows, and client functions to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Director of Sales or equivalent leadership role within a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets and managing a successful sales team.
- Strong network of contacts within the Makassar and Sulawesi Selatan market is highly advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Fluent in English, with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in hotel systems, such as VHP or Opera, and CRM software.
- Based in Makassar or willing to relocate immediately.
