Professionals in this level often rely on technical competence but fail to shape relational influence. Promotion discussions turn into polite declines and this unfolds slowly across three to five years.

Position: Revenue Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize hotel revenue strategy by analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, setting pricing, and managing inventory to drive profit and market share
  • Manage distribution and system accuracy by maximizing OTA and channel performance, ensuring clean data and system hygiene, and coordinating with the reservations team to optimize RevPAR
  • Strengthen cross-department collaboration by leading revenue meetings, aligning with sales/finance/front office teams, and developing team capability in revenue management practices

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in revenue management with strong analytical skills, solid understanding of revenue principles, and ideally experience with IDeaS and distribution/OTA ecosystems
  • Able to make data-driven strategic decisions, work independently, stay curious, and adapt to emerging market trends
  • Thrives in teamwork, engages effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and contributes to elevating revenue management as a valued practice
