Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise food preparation for the resort’s dining outlets.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and culinary innovation.
  • Ensure all food production adheres to strict hygiene and international safety standards.
  • Lead and train junior kitchen staff to achieve excellence in food quality and presentation.
  • Manage food cost controls and monitor ingredient quality from suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a 5 star luxury resort or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong culinary expertise in both local Javanese and international cuisines.
  • Solid leadership skills and experience in kitchen management.
  • Degree or professional certification in Culinary Arts.
  • Good communication skills in English for technical operational needs.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on consistent plate presentation.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence.
