Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise food preparation for the resort’s dining outlets.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and culinary innovation.
- Ensure all food production adheres to strict hygiene and international safety standards.
- Lead and train junior kitchen staff to achieve excellence in food quality and presentation.
- Manage food cost controls and monitor ingredient quality from suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a 5 star luxury resort or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong culinary expertise in both local Javanese and international cuisines.
- Solid leadership skills and experience in kitchen management.
- Degree or professional certification in Culinary Arts.
- Good communication skills in English for technical operational needs.
- Detail oriented with a focus on consistent plate presentation.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence.
