Position: Commis – Baker
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods according to resort recipes.
- Ensure all items are produced with high quality and consistent texture and flavor.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery station in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Support the pastry team during peak operational periods and event preparations.
- Monitor inventory of baking supplies and report replenishment needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and dough preparation.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Basic English proficiency for operational tasks.
- Hardworking, reliable, and detail oriented.
- Vocational background in culinary or pastry arts.
