Position: Commis – Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastry and bakery items for the resort
- Clean and maintain pastry stations, tools, and equipment to hygiene standards
- Support senior pastry chefs in mise-en-place and dessert presentation
- Follow all established recipes and food safety procedures
- Organize pastry ingredients and assist with stock rotation
Qualifications:
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of pastry techniques
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward kitchen duties
- Previous kitchen experience or vocational training in pastry is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow precise instructions
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Vocational high school (SMK) graduate in Culinary or Pastry Arts
