The Seraya, Komodo is a breathtaking luxury resort located on a private island in the Komodo archipelago, where pristine white beaches meet the vibrant azure waters of the Flores Sea. Our resort offers an exclusive island getaway with elegant accommodations and a commitment to preserving the natural beauty of our unique marine environment. We are currently hosting a walk in interview for various hotel jobs in Komodo for passionate individuals who wish to work in a paradise setting.
As we prepare for the upcoming 2026 season, we are looking for creative and energetic professionals to join our island team. We are looking for creative souls to join this hoteljob.id vacancy and help us deliver extraordinary experiences for our international guests. A lot of hotel staff stay in this role for years simply because they never question it, and focus only on finishing tasks rather than building transferable skills.
Position: Cook
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to resort recipes and guest preferences
- Support the kitchen team during peak meal periods and resort events
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the food preparation area
- Handle ingredients and kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure all food production adheres to health and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in food production, preferably in a hotel or resort
- Solid culinary skills across diverse cuisines
- Reliable, hard working, and have a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia
- Willingness to work flexible island hours
