Position: Chef de Partie – Ah Yat Abalone

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a specific section of the Ah Yat Abalone kitchen to ensure high-quality dish production.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of traditional Chinese and seafood specialties.
  • Manage and train junior kitchen staff to maintain consistent culinary standards.
  • Monitor food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols within the section.
  • Ensure accurate portion control and minimize food waste during daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, specifically in high-end Chinese or seafood cuisine.
  • Strong technical skills in traditional Chinese cooking methods.
  • Leadership ability to manage a diverse and fast-paced kitchen brigade.
  • Commitment to five-star culinary quality and presentation.
  • Deep knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional certification in culinary arts is an advantage.
