Position: Housekeeping Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations and department standards
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Hyatt aesthetic and cleanliness standards
- Manage and mentor a large team of room attendants and public area staff
- Coordinate room assignments and follow up on maintenance issues property wide
- Assist in inventory management and departmental cost control initiatives
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a supervisor or assistant manager in a luxury housekeeping department
- Strong eye for detail and uncompromising standards for cleanliness and hygiene
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle daily operational counts
- Ability to lead a diverse team and maintain high morale under physical demands
- Effective communication skills and familiarity with housekeeping management systems
- Knowledge of chemical safety and professional cleaning procedures
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through room quality
