Position: Chef de partie – Pastry

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the pastry section to ensure high quality production and creative presentation
  • Manage daily production cycles and ensure all ingredients are handled according to hygiene standards
  • Assist the Pastry Chef in developing innovative dessert menus and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain pastry kitchen equipment and manage inventory levels for the section
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure accurate timing and guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a professional pastry kitchen
  • Strong technical skills in international pastry, baking, and chocolate work
  • In depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume luxury resort setting
  • Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail in dessert aesthetics
  • Collaborative team player with a passion for culinary excellence
  • Relevant culinary degree or pastry certification is highly regarded
