Position: Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

• Lead the pastry and bakery department, overseeing all production.
• Create and develop a wide range of desserts, pastries, cakes, and breads.
• Manage the pastry team, providing training and supervision.
• Ensure high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• Control inventory, food cost, and hygiene for the pastry kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or high end patisserie.
• Strong technical skills in baking, pastry, and chocolate work.
• Creative and artistic with a passion for dessert creation.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to manage costs and inventory.
• Formal culinary or pastry arts education is required.
