Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities within the assigned kitchen section.
  • Maintain strict consistency and quality control in all dishes leaving the kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, managing daily operations and workflow.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, inventory, and cost control efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a 4-5 star hotel setting in Central Java.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and delegation skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredient preparation, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team and maintain professional communication under pressure.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and kitchen operations software.
  • Creative ability to contribute to new menu concepts.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
