Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities within the assigned kitchen section.
- Maintain strict consistency and quality control in all dishes leaving the kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, managing daily operations and workflow.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, inventory, and cost control efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a 4-5 star hotel setting in Central Java.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and delegation skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredient preparation, and cooking methods.
- Ability to manage a diverse team and maintain professional communication under pressure.
- Proficiency in inventory management and kitchen operations software.
- Creative ability to contribute to new menu concepts.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
