Position: Pastry Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pastry and bakery operations ensuring consistent high-quality output
  • Develop and refine recipes for chocolates, contemporary desserts, and artisanal breads
  • Manage inventory, food costings, and procurement of premium pastry ingredients
  • Train and mentor the pastry team in advanced techniques and presentation standards
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols within the pastry kitchen

Qualifications:

  • Indonesian citizenship
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar related role
  • Strong knowledge of bakery, patisserie, chocolates, and contemporary desserts
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about high-end pastry production
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to communicate effectively in English
