Position: Sous Chef

Qualifications:

  • Proven culinary expertise as a Sous Chef in luxury hotels or resorts
  • Strong leadership character with experience in kitchen management
  • Knowledge of diverse international cuisines and culinary trends
  • Strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Creative mindset for menu development and food presentation
  • Ability to train and mentor a newly formed kitchen brigade
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations and production
  • Supervise and lead the kitchen team to maintain consistent food quality and standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and minimize wastage
  • Oversee the preparation and service of dishes during high-volume periods
  • Ensure the highest levels of kitchen cleanliness and workplace safety
