Position: Demi Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a specific section of the kitchen to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage food preparation cycles and ensure all ingredients are handled according to hygiene standards
- Assist the Sous Chef in menu development and training of junior culinary staff
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth timing and guest satisfaction during shifts
Qualifications:
- Solid experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a professional hotel kitchen
- Proficiency in diverse culinary techniques and section management
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced culinary environment
- Collaborative team player with a passion for culinary excellence
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
- Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized institution
