Position: Steward
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, and glassware to hotel standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas and storage spaces
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and dry goods
- Properly dispose of kitchen waste according to recycling and hygiene protocols
- Support the culinary team with equipment set-ups for banquets and events
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Highly motivated, good team player, and proactive
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and dishwashing equipment
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and standing for long periods
- Strong commitment to sanitation and workplace safety
- Able to work effectively in a warm and busy kitchen environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the entire F&B team
