Position: Steward Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily steward operations to ensure all kitchen equipment and service ware are cleaned to Marriott standards
- Supervise the chemical inventory and ensure safe handling of cleaning supplies
- Coordinate with F&B outlets and banquets for equipment requirements during peak service times
- Implement waste management protocols and monitor kitchen sanitation property wide
- Train the stewarding team on safety procedures and equipment operation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a senior steward or supervisory role in a high volume hotel
- Thorough knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitation standards
- Physical stamina to lead a team in a demanding kitchen environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail regarding cleanliness
- Basic English communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to handle multi tasking under pressure
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines is highly regarded
