Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire pastry department to ensure high quality production
- Develop innovative dessert menus and seasonal pastry offerings for all outlets
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in pastry
- Mentor and train the pastry team to maintain consistent culinary excellence
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ingredient costs property wide
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Pastry leadership role within an upscale hotel
- Strong technical skills in chocolate work, sugar craft, and international pastry
- In depth knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management
- Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail in dessert presentation
- Strategic mindset with a focus on cost management and operational efficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Degree in Culinary Arts or Pastry is highly regarded
