Position: Room Controller – Front Office

Responsibilities:

  • Manage room inventory and coordinate room assignments to ensure efficient guest check in
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering for real time room status updates
  • Monitor arrivals and departures to optimize room availability and occupancy strategies
  • Handle guest room requests and ensure VIP preferences are accurately assigned
  • Analyze daily occupancy data to support Front Office management decisions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Front Office or Reservations role within an upscale hotel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail regarding room inventory management
  • Proficiency in property management systems, particularly Opera Cloud
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to coordinate between departments
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high pressure, guest centric environment
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and occupancy
  • Relevant degree or certificate in Hospitality Management is preferred
