Position: Commis
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of food items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen station.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly to prevent spoilage.
- Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety (HACCP) regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commis or in an entry-level kitchen position.
- Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
