Position: Commis

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen station.
• Ensure all food items are stored properly to prevent spoilage.
• Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety (HACCP) regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commis or in an entry-level kitchen position.
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
